Friday Night Fights- Uppercut!: Round 12 - OLD SCHOOL!!!!!

For this, the last round of FNF - Uppercut, I went for a true battle royale scene from a truly OLD SCHOOL!!!! creation. Now for you young'uns out there, back in the 70's and early 80's Marvel used to publish comics in Magazine Format, perhaps the most popular of which was Savage Sword of Conan(Gotta get me more of those... but that's a whole other story) When the Hulk hit big on TV screens everywhere in the 70's, Marvel answered by publishing the Hulk Comic Magazine, from which my final round entry comes from...... I bring to you THE HULK VERSUS THE EXOSKELETON ENHANCED STRONGMAN BRUNO!!!!

So, basically, Bruno is a circus strongman who was bullied alot when he was a kid and as an adult he wants the means to destroy the person he sees as the ultimate bully..... THE HULK. He seeks out a scientist who fits him with an exoskeleton battle suit of sorts and he seeks out the green behemoth. He finds him roaming around a football stadium (who knew Hulk was a fan of the sport of kings!), and the BATTLE IS JOINED!!!!

I ask you, have you ever seen the Hulk demolish a man like that before?!?!?!?! ONLY IN FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS BABY!!!!! (and who knew Hulk used slang like " 'cuz "..... maybe Hulk is not just the strongest one there is, but also the hippest one there is!)

Friday Night Fights- Uppercut!: Round 11 - OLD SCHOOL!!!!!

So, this week's OLD SCHOOL entry continues my recent trend of Salutes to the finest team-up comic known to man.... Marvel Two-In-One! I was going to save this particular entry for a knock-out blow in round 12, but like most good fighters... I DON"T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST ROUND TO LAUNCH THE FIGHTING FRENZY!!! This entry comes from the immortal issue #50 of MTIO, which dares to ask the question "What happens when the ever lovin' blue eyed Thing fights... the ever lovin' blue eyed Thing?!?!?!!?"

Programming note - Milestone Mondays

Okay folks, this post should really have been on monday, but it's been busy here at Munson Central! While details will have to wait for at least a weak, I can tell you now is that Milestone Mondays is on hold until September 10th! Friday Night Fights- Uppercut!: Round 9 - OLD SCHOOL!!!!!

This week is round 9, we're heading for the final round fast fight fans! Munsonisms brings an OLD SCHOOL!!! fight scene from the pages of Boris the Bear #1, as the official Mascot of Munsonisms lays the smackdown on the black & white glut of the 1980's!
